Well if you get V6 that's ~575$ and other options are out of the window. If you don't have a sound card for example or headphones, whatever small equipment you might be missing, you can get decent ones for ~100$ aswell. Let's say if I had an exact budget of 600$, I would go for omni + some bonus plugin. So consider that you can get omni + some other thing you wanted on a discount for the price of V6, like a waves plugin or fabfilter plugin etc. This remarkable innovation transforms over 65 well-known hardware synthesizers into extensive hands-on controllers that unlock Omnisphere’s newly expanded synthesis capabilities.
OMNISPHERE 2.5 DISCOUNT MOD
On one hand, there is CS80, Solina, dx7, jup8, hammond, and many more, and on the other hand, there is this beast that is omnisphere.Īlso omnisphere is around 75$ cheaper if I'm not mistaken.(V6 is 500€, omni is 500$) Omnisphere is the only software synth in the world to offer a Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 Hardware Synth Integration Omnisphere 2 Mod Wheels feature. By the way, I don't mean that omnisphere can't hold up against V collection in synthwave/retro electro realm, it's an extremely powerful synth and can work in any genre to be honest. I'm making synthwave so I would go for V collection any day of the week but if you are more into EDM/trap (modern electronic music basically) go for omnisphere. However, many new patches do not require more resources. Some newer patches require more resources than older ones. Depends on the genre of music you are producing. Does Omnisphere 2.5 need more CPU power than Omnisphere 2.4 Not significantly more.
